About Fête

We fill dance floors.

Fête is a Denver DJ, lighting, and photo booth company for weddings. We started it because most couples don't actually want a DJ. They want a great night, and the DJ is how you get one.

The story

A decade behind the decks.

Josh Brooks started Fête after about ten years of DJing weddings, private parties, and corporate events. That's a lot of first dances, a lot of toasts that went long, and a very clear picture of what makes a reception work and what quietly kills it.

Fête is French for a party. The accent stays, and so does the standard: sound sized for the room, lighting that changes how the room feels, a photo booth people actually use, and an MC who keeps the timeline honest so you never have to.

We're based in Denver and work the whole Front Range.

How we work

Three things we're stubborn about.

01

Reading the room

Your playlist is the starting point, not the script. If the floor empties, we don't finish the song, we fix it. That's the whole job.

02

Running the timeline

Grand entrance, toasts, first dance, cake, last song. We know what's next, we tell the room, and we keep it moving. You'll never hear us say "uh, I think we're doing the cake now."

03

Real production

Professional speakers sized to the room, wireless mics that don't squeal, lighting that moves with the music, and a ceremony setup that runs on batteries so it goes wherever the ceremony is. Same gear on Petit as on Luxe. Gear is not where we cut corners.

Planning

Planned like a production, not a party.

  • A planning portal for must-plays, do-not-plays, and the moments that matter
  • A call with us two weeks out to lock the timeline
  • We talk to your planner and your venue so you don't have to relay
  • Early arrival, quiet setup, no soundcheck during your cocktail hour
  • Contracts, payments, and changes in one portal
